Love or comfort: what shapes your choice?
Attraction, support, a shared future, or fear of losing a familiar life? Several motives can matter at once.
Original self-reflection quiz. Not a validated psychological assessment, diagnosis, or matchmaking tool.
Answers stay in this tab’s memory. We do not send them to a server, save them in browser storage, or include them in the URL. Reloading or leaving clears them. Public-page visits may still be measured as described in our privacy policy.
A few honest answers. No right ones.
Think about what is usually true for you now. You can answer without a partner, skip any item, and go back before viewing the result. Skipped items do not count as neutral answers.
If you are single, think about what influences your choices when dating. You do not need to imagine a current partner.
How this works · research and limitations
Each theme has three equally weighted questions. Some are reverse-scored. A theme needs at least two answers; skips are excluded. An average of 2.4 or below leans toward one side, 3.6 or above toward the other; the middle is reported without a clear lean. These are editorial grouping rules, not clinical cutoffs, percentiles, or a compatibility score.
The studies below provide background only. We did not reproduce their questionnaires; these original questions and both language versions have not been independently validated. A result depends on your answers today and may change with context.
If there is fear, coercion, or violence, prioritise your safety rather than joint exercises. Persistent distress deserves support from a qualified professional. Privacy
